Ex-Presidents And Political Officials At Risk Of Hacking

Posted on: April 16th, 2013

bush email hackedHackers will stop at nothing to get what they want, and typically what they want most is personal information from the heads of households. Sometimes that means breaking into the living quarters or personal PCs of some of the most famous people in history. When it comes to security breaches, no one is safe, not even the most heavily guarded and protected people on the planet.

There are some hackers that want to make history. That seems to be the case for Guccifer, who has made it a personal goal to attack the Bush households, and gain access to their personal computers and email accounts, despite their having retired from the formal presidency. Why is this hacker so bent on hacking into the lives of former presidents?

No one is quite sure, but so far Guccifer has managed to access the email accounts of the former officials of the United States and posted pictures of the executives, leaving lasting impressions on their family and other important close friends.

Hackers Can Harm Anyone

Hackers have no boundaries when it comes to hacking, and will do whatever it takes to get into the most challenging databases. Sometimes their motivation may be political, and sometimes they do what they do simply for the thrill of doing it. Most will attempt to post personal and private information to get it out there and make it public. This may include personal phone numbers, the email contacts of reputable people including former presidents or starts, and the contact numbers in some cases of family members. Recently hackers posted the former president’s emails and information about his stay in the hospital.

There is evidence that more information was stolen, but this information has yet to be revealed. Other information that was taken from the emails and files of the former president includes documents and conversations with sports caster Jim Nantz who used to broadcast with CBS. The hacker also managed to get the pin code for the private property of the Bush residence that they use for golfing and dinner arrangements. The total number of accounts the hacker got into was six, completely violating the privacy of the Bush family.

There was other very personal and private information accessed including portraits of George W. Bush engaging in personal activities including showering. When it comes to a hacker, some have no couth, and will do anything to get a shot or get publicized. One of the only ways to defend yourself from such invasions is to invest in a proxy service that can hide your identity.
